Senior Software Engineer

Netskope is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, UI Developer to join their Netskope One CASB team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role involves designing and building cloud-native services for deep visibility, control, and protection across SaaS and GenAI applications, operating at a global scale without impacting user performance. The team is responsible for the Netskope Cloud Confidence Index (CCI), a comprehensive database of SaaS application enterprise readiness.

As a UI Developer on the CASB/CCI team, you will be instrumental in developing and advancing the CASB and CCI web applications and their user experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing web applications using frontend technologies such as React, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, and Webpack.
• Supporting web application service features through backend development.
• Developing reusable UI components in React, JQuery, and AngularJS.
• Ensuring seamless cross-browser compatibility for all developed applications.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and methodologies, and recommending their adoption within the CCI stack.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 4-7 years of industry experience in developing web-based applications.
• Expertise in JavaScript.
• Exposure to AngularJS, Angular2+, and JQuery.
• Exposure to backend languages such as PHP, Python, or Java.
• Expertise in HTML and CSS3.
• Familiarity and proficiency in algorithms and database design.
• Knowledge of secure web development practices.
• Working knowledge of Git or other modern version control tools.
• Experience in improving web application performance and familiarity with testing tools are considered significant advantages.

Educational requirements include a BE in Computer Science or equivalent. An ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or equivalent is strongly preferred.
