Senior Software Engineer

S&P Global Mobility is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in UI Backend and Data Pipeline Engineering to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is crucial for developing innovative AWS cloud-native solutions that enable automotive forecasting and advanced analytics.

The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable data pipelines, build high-performance UI backend services using Python and Flask, and ensure data quality. Responsibilities include leading data integration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and data scientists, and optimizing data flow and storage. Experience with Redis for caching and DynamoDB for data storage is required.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Advanced Analytics, proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, and mandatory AWS skills (ECR, Containerization, Batch, Step Functions, Redis, DynamoDB, Lambda). Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, data manipulation libraries (Pandas, Polars, NumPy), and CI/CD tools like GitLab is also essential.
