Senior Software Engineer

About The Role

Help build enterprise solutions that power major pharmaceuticals companies and enable faster market entry for vaccines, medicines, and consumer goods. Veeva is expanding its Hyderabad centre with multiple Test Automation positions to support global quality engineering.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tests using cutting-edge tools like Cucumber (BDD), AWS services (EC2, S3, Workspace), Visual Regression testing, and DevOps pipelines.
• Create comprehensive test plans for Veeva mobile products including Vault Mobile and Station Manager applications.
• Collaborate with QA managers to review automation strategies and update project statuses.
• Contribute actively to release testing cycles within the regression suite.
• Mentor junior team members, resolve technical issues, and foster a collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation, QA, or development.
• Proficiency with various automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
• Solid skills in API testing and scripting using Python and/or Java.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience within the life sciences or healthcare sectors.
• Involvement in Code Hackathons and open source community projects.
