Senior Software Engineer

About The Role

Join the Shopper Data Platform team as a Senior Software Engineer. You will serve as the backbone of our data-driven personalization efforts, responsible for ingesting, processing, and serving millions of user data points daily.

Your Expertise & Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and evolve high-scale backend systems for ingestion, storage, and serving within the Shopper Data Platform.
• Take ownership of complex engineering projects end-to-end, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs from implementation through production operation.
• Develop APIs, streaming pipelines, and platform capabilities that enable teams to safely build on user-profile data.
• Improve scalability, reliability, data quality, observability, and performance for systems processing large volumes of event data.
• Partner with product, data, and ML teams to deliver user attributes supporting segmentation, personalization, revenue attribution, behavioral analytics, and machine learning.
• Contribute to technical design decisions, architectural standards, mentorship, and hands-on development of technically challenging work.
