Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer for our Security Platform team. This is not an analyst role, but a development position focused on building and owning the services that discover, scan, triage, and route security findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and operate core security engineering services primarily in Golang and Python on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Own the event-driven platform connecting security services via a NATS-based bus ensuring reliable delivery of findings and alerts.
• Integrate scanners with system-of-record tickets to ensure remediation state is visible automatically.
• Manage critical CI/CD security gates including SAST, SCA, secret detection, container scanning, and IaC scanning within GitLab CI.
• Develop agentic AI-assisted workflows for automated triage, verification, and remediation guidance that other engineers adopt daily.

Tech Stack:

This role requires expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Golang, Python, NATS event buses, GitLab CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab), MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and experience with security tooling like Semgrep, CodeQL, Snyk, Trivy, and Grype.
