Description

You will be part of the Salesforce development team for a strategic initiative within Qatar Airways. You will collaborate with business units to gather requirements (including non-functional ones), define technical solutions, and participate in solution design reviews.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own all technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: data migrations, quality assurance, systems integrations, 3rd party apps, AppExchange products, and custom development.
• Provide technical leadership by setting best practices for integration, application deployment, testing (unit/systems), and iterative refinement.
• Liaise with business teams to collect requirements including non-functional ones.
• Manage technical change management processes for all Salesforce-related technology efforts.
• Assess architecture and provide secure, high-performance solutions on the Force.com platform.
• Design architectural solutions spanning multiple platforms, including cross-system integration and authentication.
• Review Functional Specifications, Interface Specs, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal IT teams to design robust interfaces between Salesforce and other applications.
• Enforce compliance with QRIT policies while selecting solution components, ensuring adherence to corporate and international standards.
• Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, service quality, and systems management requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• Firm understanding of object-oriented techniques.
• Hands-on experience in design/development of Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Experience with external system integrations and knowledge of integration Design patterns/Best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of OOTB functionality, security options, and cloud/on-premise middleware.
• Thorough understanding of the Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Governor limits in Salesforce.
• Minimum 5 years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.
• Minimum 2 years managing Enterprise implementations with 300+ users and integrations (Oracle, SAP).
• Experience executing at least one complex data migration/ETL effort.
• Demonstrated Global delivery capability in CRM business impact projects.
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce capabilities/constraints.
• Advanced structured programming skills: Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Triggers, Flows, VS Code, Event Monitoring, .Net, Java.
• Batch/Schedule Apex development experience.
• Solid grasp of web services for enterprise data transport and interaction with Salesforce.
