Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a contractor basis for one of our elite AI clients. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that train next-generation AI systems, directly shaping how models learn and reason.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement high-quality software solutions using JavaScript, Java, and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior developers, review code, and enforce best engineering practices.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests within agile development cycles (sprints/retrospectives).

Required Skills:

• Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and Python (<5 years experience required).
• Core Competencies: Scalable application design, debugging, performance optimization, and system reliability.
• Methodologies: Agile development, TDD, code reviews, sprint planning.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication to explain complex concepts to stakeholders; ability to mentor others.
