Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers with deep expertise in software development, algorithms, data structures, debugging, codebase refactoring, performance optimization, and modern programming languages. You will contribute to advanced projects focused on AI training and evaluation.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments that test AI models on realistic software engineering workflows, including DevOps, CI/CD, debugging, code optimization, and command-line development.
• Create reproducible environments, golden reference solutions, and challenging technical tasks to evaluate an AI model's reasoning capabilities in complex software problems.

Key Responsibilities

You will design RL environments for realistic workflows (DevOps, CI/CD), build reproducible setups using Git, Docker, GDB, AddressSanitizer, FFmpeg, and other CLI tools. You'll develop golden reference solutions to validate engineering tasks.

Leverage your expertise in algorithms and data structures to create challenging scenarios that evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, maintainability, performance, and robustness. Identify bugs, edge cases, and bottlenecks while collaborating with technical teams to refine specifications and workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated experience debugging complex issues and delivering maintainable solutions.

You must have a strong background in feature development, refactoring, and optimizing codebases. Experience with CLI environments and dev tools is essential. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in remote, cross-functional teams are required.
