Senior Software Engineer - React Native Developer in Bangalore

We are seeking a talented Senior React Native Developer to build engaging, scalable, and reliable mobile experiences for our users. You will be instrumental in developing high-quality applications that offer a seamless experience across both iOS and Android devices.

Your initial significant project will involve the development of our innovative new community feature. This space will enable users to connect and interact through features akin to a Facebook-style feed, chat functionalities, and discussion forums. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, high-quality mobile applications utilizing React Native.
• Translate complex UI/UX designs into functional, responsive, and scalable mobile applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver integrated and seamless user experiences.
• Optimize applications for peak performance, robust security, and overall reliability.
• Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team brainstorming sessions to foster innovation and knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mobile development and proactively propose enhancements to our technology stack.

Essential Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with React Native, with a demonstrable track record of successfully launching production-ready mobile applications.
• In-depth understanding of React Native architecture, including modern features like Fabric, TurboModules, and JSI, along with expertise in components, hooks, and state management solutions (e.g., Redux, MobX, Context API).
• Strong debugging capabilities utilizing advanced tools such as Flipper, Chrome DevTools, Xcode, or Android Studio.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a solid understanding of the nuances of both iOS and Android mobile ecosystems.
• Proven experience with native module development and integrating platform-specific code where necessary.
• A solid grasp of performance optimization techniques, mobile security best practices, and user experience (UX) principles for mobile applications.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers and inspire your peers.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-have):

• Proficiency in native mobile development languages such as Kotlin, Objective-C, or Swift.
• Previous experience working with brownfield React Native projects, including integration into existing native applications.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile app development.
• A foundational understanding of backend systems, including APIs and databases.
