Senior Software Engineer

ZoomInfo is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Chorus Platform team, focusing on backend development. The Chorus.ai platform is a premier Conversation Intelligence solution designed for sales teams. It analyzes and processes extensive sales call data, delivering actionable insights to enhance sales professional performance. Leveraging AI-powered analysis, we provide sales managers with critical updates on deal status, potential risks, and recommended next steps, making Chorus an indispensable tool for modern, data-driven sales organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy complex, large-scale distributed systems capable of handling millions of daily customer requests.
• Own customer-facing features, driving continuous improvements that equip users with valuable, actionable insights from our platform.
• Develop and integrate with external conferencing and communication platforms using various SDKs and APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and front-end engineers, to ensure a seamless user experience. Thrive in a collaborative environment focused on designing technical solutions that support business scaling needs.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform, including the migration from a monolithic service to scalable, independent microservices to improve flexibility and performance.
• Address and solve complex engineering challenges requiring scalable solutions, high availability, and robust infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a strong preference for Python. Experience with NodeJS, Java, or Scala will also be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing distributed microservices and large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring service performance, scalability, and security.
• Familiarity with both NoSQL and SQL databases, with a focus on performance and scalability optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and mentor junior engineers.
• Adaptability and a willingness to work with diverse technologies, taking ownership of various product components.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience is required.
