Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

CyberArk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join an elite team responsible for building a foundational platform that powers all of CyberArk's SaaS products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK, and Python to design, develop, test, secure, and deploy services from inception through to production. You will collaborate closely with security architects, product managers, and other development teams to create a sophisticated and advanced platform that adheres to the highest security standards and non-functional requirements. We are looking for an energetic and versatile individual to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, secure, and deploy services using AWS serverless architecture, AWS CDK, and Python.
• Collaborate with security architects, product managers, and other development teams.
• Contribute to building complex and advanced platforms meeting high security standards and NFRs.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong preference for Python (experience in Go, Node, Ruby, Java, C#, or C++ is also valued).
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS experience is a significant advantage).
• Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise-scale applications within a cloud/SaaS environment, with AWS serverless architecture experience being a definite plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (both spoken and written).
• A passion for clean code design, producing high-quality code, participating in code reviews, optimizing performance, and challenging existing practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience working with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with microservice and event-oriented design and development.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)

• Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Enthusiasm for code quality, architecture, design, testing, and performance optimization.
• A proactive, highly motivated, and goal-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
• Solid understanding of security and networking implementation best practices.
• Proficiency with modern CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
• A self-driven learner (autodidact) who enjoys acquiring new knowledge and sharing it with the team.
• A strong desire to utilize and deeply understand new technologies.
