Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of high-performance analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical leadership across the full SDLC, influencing architecture and design decisions while unblocking team objectives efficiently.
• Mentor and develop engineers through structured guidance, code reviews, and leading design discussions to foster continuous learning.
• Articulate complex technical decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deliver high throughput by acting as a force multiplier for team productivity, execution speed, and improved technical outcomes through hands-on contribution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable software solutions using clean, maintainable code based on object-oriented principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in both development and production environments.

All About You

We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of overall software engineering experience who has demonstrated technical growth, increasing ownership, and impactful outcomes. Key requirements include:

• Proven capability to mentor engineers via effective code reviews and design facilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong backend development expertise with databases like Postgres, data modelling, and architecture design.
• Expertise in Java combined with proficiency in frontend technologies such as ReactJS.

Preferrred Experience

Ideal candidates have experience leading the design of scalable systems, managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing automated testing frameworks, performing load/unit tests on RESTful APIs, and working within global cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
