Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Databricks seeks an experienced Senior Engineer for our Partner Ecosystem team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance SQL drivers that power critical infrastructure components for partner integrations, driving Data Warehousing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build reliable Databricks SQL connectors for partners and enterprise customers to enable seamless connectivity.
• Evolving the Partner Connect offering to grow our elite partner ecosystem.
• Maintain open source repositories around SQL drivers and actively engage with the developer community.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer teams to architect solutions addressing complex technical challenges.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• +5 years of production-level experience in Java, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Proven ability to architect and deploy highly performant systems with a multi-quarter vision.
• Demonstrated track record contributing to open source communities.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead projects across organizational boundaries.
