About This Role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company managing all applications and next steps. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer based in India with expertise in OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.
Unlike traditional engineering roles requiring production software development, you will apply your technical instincts to evaluate the quality of interactions produced by advanced AI coding agents. You will assess how these tools reason and guide developers through real-world challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions from start to finish, including responses, explanations, and recommendations.
- Assess technical judgment, clarity, usefulness, and overall developer experience rather than focusing solely on code syntax.
- Distinguish between different levels of response quality using consistent evaluation criteria tailored for senior engineers.
- Provide clear, detailed written feedback explaining what worked well versus inaccurate or ineffective outputs.
Evaluation Standards
You will help define and refine quality standards for interactions with AI coding tools. Your goal is to ensure these agents guide developers effectively rather than simply generating output without thought.
