Senior Software Engineer

Experian is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer (.NET/Azure) to design and develop high-volume, high-transaction solutions for the Experian Employer Services (EES) organization. In this role, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding, code reviews, SAST analysis, and collaboration with EES teams to deliver exceptional software solutions for our clients and partners. You will also be instrumental in evaluating and integrating acquired technologies into the EES product ecosystem. This position reports to the Senior Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze new feature requirements, considering architectural design, software development best practices, testing strategies, database design, security, and cloud architecture.
• Develop new applications and modernize existing ones, ensuring a responsive user experience across multiple devices.
• Create new APIs and partner integrations, and modernize existing ones.
• Implement high-quality code and unit tests.
• Actively participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback.
• Manage code check-ins to appropriate source control branches.
• Adhere to Experian's Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Address and resolve bugs identified by QA in a timely manner.
• Present feature demonstrations to the Product team for approval.
• Champion a DevOps culture and collaborate effectively with the IT department.
• Provide support and assistance to other team members.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address platform emergencies.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and Relational Database Design.
• Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and ReactJS.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Solutions (IaaS, SaaS).
• Proven experience in API development and integrations.
• Solid understanding of common Architectural Patterns and Cloud Native development.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with Entity Framework or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in .NET development and architecture.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure cloud technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
