Senior Software Engineer - .Net Fullstack at H&M Group in Bengaluru, India
H&M Group is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer specializing in .Net Fullstack to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining robust, scalable software solutions that power our global trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, robust, and scalable software solutions using C# and .NET Core.
- Develop and maintain front-end applications utilizing Angular.
- Work extensively with Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Integrate with various cloud services and source/target systems to retrieve and provide data essential for Trade operations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and established software design patterns.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation efforts.
- Document software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Embrace and practice Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
About the Trade Team
The Trade team at H&M Group focuses on developing products that facilitate seamless interaction between back-end systems and customs brokers for cross-border solutions. This includes supporting direct imports and providing essential connectivity for import and export customs handling across all sales channels. The team works on key applications like Customs Broker Connectivity and Customs Broker Returns, aiming to make cross-border trade faster, easier, and more cost-effective through standardized integrations and improved data quality.
Who You Are
- 8-10 years of comprehensive hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core development.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, with practical experience in Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure SQL Server, and Azure Storage.
- Proven experience with Angular 10+ for building modern Single Page Applications (SPAs).
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing and performance tuning.
- Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JWT, and OAuth2.
- Comfortable using development tools such as Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and the Azure Portal.
- Previous experience working with Trade-related applications is advantageous.
- Skilled in writing unit and integration tests using various testing frameworks.
- Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Good knowledge of Application and Cloud Security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Ability to effectively interact with business users for requirement gathering, clarification, coordination, and solution walkthroughs.
