Senior Software Engineer

Anaplan is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team in Gurugram, Haryana. As a technical leader and individual contributor, you will drive technical decisions, lead complex projects, and mentor junior developers while building scalable web applications and cloud solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape our technical architecture and engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead technical design and architecture for scalable systems, drive engineering best practices, evaluate new technologies, and design/implement web applications using .NET and modern UI frameworks.
• Development & Delivery: Write clean, maintainable code, lead complex technical projects, build RESTful APIs, and work with cloud platforms like Azure/AWS.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews, collaborate with product management and design, present technical solutions, and participate in hiring decisions.
• Process & Quality: Lead automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipeline development, facilitate architectural decision-making, champion Agile/Scrum practices, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Innovation & Growth: Stay current with emerging technologies, drive adoption of improvements, and lead knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Expert-level proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core/5+, modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Advanced proficiency in database design (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), software architecture patterns, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), API design (REST, JSON, GraphQL), automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience leading technical projects, mentoring developers, and strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, NoSQL databases, performance optimization, monitoring tools, and security best practices.
• Experience with system design and capacity planning, startup environments, and open-source contributions.
