Senior Software Engineer

Pinky Promise is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our small, dynamic, and fun team in Mumbai. This role is crucial in building a better future for women's healthcare in India. You will be instrumental in scaling our platform to serve 1 million users seamlessly and developing a groundbreaking medical AI specifically for women's healthcare. Your responsibilities will span across our products and technologies, including backend microservices and customer-facing web and mobile applications. You will design and implement key features that will fundamentally change how women access reproductive healthcare and manage their well-being. Working closely with the founding team, you will contribute to cutting-edge AI solutions and help transform the landscape of women's healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale the platform to support 1 million users without performance degradation.
• Develop a pioneering medical AI system for women's healthcare.
• Work across backend microservices, web, and mobile applications.
• Design and build critical product features to revolutionize women's reproductive healthcare access.
• Collaborate with the founding team on AI solution design and development.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Node.js, Java, Rust, or Go.
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, or Express.
• Experience with web and/or mobile app development using frameworks like Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Flutter, Vue, or React.
• Understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and ability to write efficient queries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and version control systems (Git).
• Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Education & Experience:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of experience, OR 5-8 years of experience in a core development role.
