Role Overview: Senior Software Engineer (LearnWith.AI)

We are seeking an exceptional full-stack engineer to join the LearnWith.AI team, reshaping education through AI. This is a $100,000/year USD Remote Contractor position ($50/hr). You will take ownership of critical product features while influencing technical strategy and ensuring long-term system reliability.

You'll Contribute To Products Reshaping Education

• TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style educational interface.
• TimeBack: Functions as an intelligent learning assistant connecting with current apps for proactive student guidance.
• Athena: Employs AI-created videos and assessments to produce quantifiable learning results.

Your Responsibilities

You will advance the technical foundation of our SaaS offerings, applying generative AI to expand possibilities. Working in close partnership with product teams, you will convert strategic requirements into robust technical architecture.

• Feature Development: Architect and build new capabilities emphasizing scalability and sustainability.
• Requirement Engineering: Partner with stakeholders to clarify specs and guide technical conversations ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Operations & Maintenance: Oversee product reliability, optimize performance metrics, and preemptively address challenges.
• Technical Design: Execute high-stakes choices that directly influence user satisfaction and system scalability.

This role is not for those seeking temporary assignments without substance, internal IT support roles lacking meaningful user engagement, or positions bogged down by excessive meetings. We value deep focus on impactful decisions over tedious operational overhead.

Basic Requirements

• Full-Stack Experience: At least 1 year developing front-end and back-end features.
• SaaS Leadership: At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic decisions.
• Total SaaS Tenure: At least 4 years working on actual SaaS products (no outsourcing or internal IT projects).
• A.I. Proficiency: Proven experience using generative AI in day-to-day development workflows.

We are a remote-first company hiring globally via Crossover. This full-time (40 hours/week), long-term position requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.

Compensation Details

The role pays $50 USD/hour, equating to approximately $100,000 USD/year ($26.92/hr base + 1/8th holiday pay structure typical of US contract roles). The payment period is weekly.
