Senior Software Engineer

ServiceNow Impact is a personalized value acceleration solution designed to help customers maximize their ServiceNow investments. It offers AI-driven recommendations and expert guidance to assess organizational readiness for ServiceNow AI innovations, align investments with business objectives, and measure value realization.

Our engineering team is dedicated to developing world-class applications on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on user experience and content. We utilize the ServiceNow Next Experience framework, including modern UI tools like GraphQL and Redux, to create seamless web interfaces. Furthermore, we are integrating Gen AI capabilities from the Now Platform to generate valuable content for our customers. We are seeking passionate engineers eager to tackle complex enterprise challenges and leverage cutting-edge Generative AI tools.

In this role, you will:

• Gain exposure to diverse teams and business operations within ServiceNow, contributing to a rapidly growing product area.
• Engage with a wide range of technological opportunities, including AI and GenAI, third-party integrations, and enhancing existing ServiceNow solutions to their full potential.
• Build high-quality, scalable, and reusable code by adhering to software engineering best practices such as code reviews and unit testing.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, UX designers, product managers, and solution architects to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of code from design through to delivery.
• Implement user-friendly software that empowers customers to extend and customize functionality for their specific needs.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features, as well as enhancing the existing product suite.
• Mentor colleagues and foster knowledge sharing within the team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in leveraging or critically evaluating the integration of AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including the use of AI-powered tools, workflow automation, analysis of AI-driven insights, and understanding AI's potential impact.
• 5 to 8 years of experience with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• A passion for JavaScript and the Web platform, with a focus on reusability and componentization.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Analytical and design skills.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams.

Additionally, experience with Java and the ServiceNow platform would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
