About the Role

Join the Xplor Pay Development Team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to a full-stack payment processing and acquiring platform. You will be integral to the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating with Product Owners and Business Analysts to deliver robust functionality for our payment platform, user interfaces, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions and adapt to new technologies.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Refactor existing code, implement unit tests, and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to project conventions and requirement implementation through peer reviews.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to performance, diagnostic, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed APIs.
• Collaborate effectively with development and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior team members to uphold high software quality standards.
• Estimate, plan, and implement new features in partnership with product and design teams.
• Adhere to team-defined coding standards and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional development experience with Java 8+.
• Minimum 2 years of professional development experience with Angular 9+.
• Proficiency in key web technologies including HTML, CSS3, Responsive Design, and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with security technologies such as TLS, SAML, and OAuth.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, JPA, and Relational Database Management Systems (e.g., SQL Server).
• Experience with service-oriented and microservices architectures.
• Experience with distributed, event-driven system architectures.
• Experience with Spring Boot Application development is a plus.
• Previous experience in merchant credit card processing systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SCRUM methodologies.
