Are you a passionate Senior Software Engineer (Java) eager to shape the future of AI-powered software development? Cvent is seeking a full-time professional with hands-on experience to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver high-performance, transaction-intensive web applications and services. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating intuitive, interactive web applications using RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Collaborating with top-tier engineers to build SaaS-based applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity in coding, debugging, testing, and workflow automation.
- Evaluating AI-generated outputs to ensure code quality, correctness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Implementing AI-powered workflows to improve development velocity and team efficiency.
To excel in this role, you must have:
- 4-7 years of Java development experience with strong OOP principles.
- Proven expertise in RESTful Web Services, Spring/Dropwizard frameworks, and API development.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) like Couchbase, AWS DynamoDB, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ/Kafka) and queuing technologies.
- A deep understanding of AI integration in software engineering, including prompt design and responsible AI practices.
