Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Information Security to design, implement, and support enterprise security solutions across cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP), endpoint protection, email security, vulnerability management, and SIEM operations. You will deploy advanced detection capabilities using Microsoft Sentinel, automate incident response with SOAR tools, and lead investigations into cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Engineering: Design and optimize enterprise security architectures aligned with industry best practices.
  Critical Skills: Advanced (Level 3) support for complex platforms; deep expertise in Microsoft-centric environments using PowerShell, Python, KQL, and REST APIs.
• Cloud Security: Implement controls across multi-cloud infrastructures. Configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud/Entra ID, perform risk assessments, and partner with infrastructure teams to secure cloud adoption.
  Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP security services is highly valued.
• Endpoint & Email Security: Administer EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) and manage enterprise email gateways against phishing/malware using Safe Attachments/Links.
  Focusing on malware protection, attack surface reduction, and policy hardening.
• Vulnerability Management: Operate platforms like Qualys or Nessus to prioritize findings based on exploitability. Produce executive dashboards ensuring timely remediation of critical risks.
  Experience with MITRE ATT&CK frameworks recommended.
• SIEM & Threat Detection: Tune detection rules in Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or QRadar using KQL queries to support threat hunting and forensic analysis. Build automation workflows for efficient incident response.
  Essential: Experience integrating telemetry from identity, network, endpoint, and application sources.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive security initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate operations while staying current with emerging threats.
