Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (8+ years of experience) with high IQ and EQ to thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a backend-focused role within this senior position, you will collaborate closely with Product, Support, and business stakeholders while partnering across engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications using Golang (Backend) and React/TypeScript (Frontend).
• Build distributed architectures maintaining consistency at scale, utilizing patterns like transactional outboxes or tools like Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Create market-winning products by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Develop metrics to drive continuous product improvement.
• Mentor teammates and lead small development teams as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, Python, or similar languages for REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud-based distributed architectures and observability platforms (Prometheus, Datadog).
• Required: Demonstrated ability to leverage Large Language Models (like Claude) to enhance productivity and research.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $5,000 - $9,500 USD per month (Gross), offering competitive pay reflecting the advanced skills and leadership expected at the Senior level.
