Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a US fintech scaling its operations in India. You will anchor an engineering team, owning complex systems end-to-end and setting the technical standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: Design and build correct, scalable systems under real load; drive architecture decisions for your area of ownership.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Review code and design docs to raise the technical bar; mentor junior engineers on best practices in testing and delivery.
• Roadmap Execution: Partner with leadership to scope, sequence and deliver roadmap initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You bring 5-10 years of experience building production systems at scale. You possess strong system-design skills involving trade-offs in performance, reliability and cost. You have a track record of owning services from design through on-call support and maintain clear written/spoken English with a reliable remote setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mentoring experience or leading technical workstreams.
• Experience in regulated/high-availability environments (finance, banking).
• Familiarity with distributed systems (queues, caching, sharding).
