About the Role: Founding Engineer at an AI-Native Company

Join one of Swiss Founders Fund's fast-growing portfolio ventures as a Founding Engineer. You will help build and scale our core product while preparing for Y Combinator application.

Your Impact:

• End-to-End Ownership: Define, implement, test, deploy, and improve features from user-facing interfaces to backend services and databases.
• AI Integration: Integrate LLMs into product workflows, ensuring quality, reliability, speed, and cost-efficiency using modern tools including AI coding assistants.
• Architecture & Growth: Make practical architectural decisions supporting current needs while leaving room for scaling. Improve performance, security, monitoring, and reliability as usage grows.

What We're Looking For

We value depth of experience over degrees or specific year counts on your CV. You must demonstrate:

• Strong Technical Fundamentals: Mastery of application architecture, APIs, databases, debugging, security, and production operations.
• Independence & Judgment: Ability to solve ambiguous problems without step-by-step guidance and distinguish between 'good enough' MVPs and critical engineering challenges.
• AI Expertise: Practical experience building with LLM APIs or AI systems, understanding that demos are only the start of value creation.
• Leadership Potential: Interest in growing into Head of Engineering by establishing practices (code reviews, testing), mentoring new hires, and raising team quality.

About the Arrangement

This is a part-time, remote role based in India. We require consistent weekly commitment with agreed working-hour overlap for communication. This position suits someone who thrives in early-stage environments where priorities evolve rapidly and judgment drives execution.
