Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring two Senior Software Engineers. One will join our Infrastructure Team (alternative title: Senior Backend Engineer), and the other will join our Data Feeds Team. This is a fully remote position based in India, with standard working hours from 8 am to 5 pm IST.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Who We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of backend experience.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and strong programming skills.
• Mandatory Proficiency: Excellent command of Go OR Python.
• Familiarity With Open Source Components: MySQL/Redis/Message Queue/Nosql. Spark is required for the Data Feeds Team; ElasticSearch preferred.

Tech Stack & Environment

• Infrastructure Focus: Architecture of large-scale distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes/Docker), and Azure/AWS/GCP experience. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Data Feeds Focus: Experience building scalable data pipelines, optimizing unstructured/structured data flow, and enforcing strict data governance/security best practices.

Key Responsibilities Summary

• Infrastructure Team:
• ERP Connector Specialist: Implementing high-availability connectors to fetch ERP data globally (24/7 accessibility).
• Backend API Master: Designing and upgrading APIs to meet evolving market demands.
• Data Storage Maestro: Optimizing storage for efficiency, security, and performance.
• Business-Tech Liaison: Bridging business requirements with technical implementation via cross-functional collaboration (US/SG/China teams).
• Data Feeds Team:
• Pipeline Maestro: Developing, optimizing, and maintaining super-scalable data pipelines for seamless processing.
• Systems Guardian & Architecture Builder: Ensuring system stability while constructing high-performance, expandable architectures.
• Data Services Provider & Designer: Delivering rock-solid services with intuitive visualizations aligned to business needs.
• Governance Enforcer: Acting as the gatekeeper for sensitive data security and compliance.
