Senior Software Engineer

CareerXperts Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale highly reliable and performant systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, from initial design through to deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and thoroughly tested code.
• Influence architectural decisions and contribute to the enhancement of system design.
• Collaborate effectively with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other system issues.
• Conduct code reviews and champion high engineering standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth of team capabilities.
• Continuously seek to improve development processes, tooling, and code quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–8 years of comprehensive hands-on software development experience.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Go).
• A solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems or backend services.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and API design best practices.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and modern development methodologies.
• Exceptional debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
