ConnectWise seeks a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer II specializing in ReactJS to lead the development of high-performance, scalable, and user-centric web applications. This role is pivotal in aligning frontend development with design principles, ensuring seamless user experiences while optimizing performance and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development & Architecture: Build and maintain robust UI applications using React + TypeScript/JavaScript, implementing reusable patterns for component structure, state management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, React Query), and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).
• Component Library & Design System: Develop and maintain shared UI components adhering to design guidelines, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and collaboration with Figma/Storybook teams.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, well-tested code following coding standards, linting/formatting rules, and enforcing component reusability through code reviews.
• Performance Optimization: Minimize page load times, rendering performance bottlenecks, and bundle sizes via lazy loading/code splitting.
• Developer Experience (DX): Improve build tools, local development setups, and CI/CD workflows for frontend teams.
• Testing & Reliability: Write unit/integration tests (Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress) to ensure UI reliability and reduce regressions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver features independently with minimal supervision.
• Learning & Growth: Stay updated on React updates, modern CSS strategies, and gradually take ownership of modules/features.

Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of frontend/full-stack experience with React + TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6+), API integrations, and state management libraries.
• Experience with component libraries, design systems, monorepos, and micro-frontends.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Storybook, Turborepo/Nx.

Success Metrics: Component reusability, feature delivery velocity, UI bug reduction, and codebase maintainability.
