Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead Ab Initio ETL Development and Production support. This role is critical for our Hyderabad, Telangana location.

• Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in Ab Initio ETL development and production support.
• Lifecycle Management: Proficiency across the full solution lifecycle from requirement gathering to UAT Testing and Production Go-Live Implementation.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Build strong relationships with customers and business stakeholders for consulting on project scope and timelines.

Technical Skills

You must be well-versed in the broader Ab Initio tool suite, including Co&Op & EME (Enterprise Meta Environment), Continuous Flows, Control Center, and advanced components like Cooperating System and GDE. Extensive experience with Graphical Development Environment (GDE) for creating graphs is essential.

Advanced Competencies

Demonstrable expertise in Enterprise Meta Environment EME version control, dependency analysis, air commands, and sandboxes is required. You should possess strong skills in all Ab Initio components, including parallelism techniques (Data, Pipeline & Component), Unix wrapper scripts for complex logic, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL.

Agile Methodology

Familiarity with agile project development lifecycles is mandatory. You will be responsible for sizing estimates, grooming stories, developing ETL jobs for automation, monitoring performance, and optimizing job execution within Data Warehouse environments.
In addition to technical expertise, you must have hands-on experience in production support incident handling (providing RCA) and a track record of mentoring junior resources.
