Full Job Description

Join Experian's Tenderlink team, a pivotal online marketplace connecting businesses with opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. Tenderlink empowers government and organizational buyers to secure optimal value and foster strong supplier relationships, while enabling suppliers to discover every relevant business prospect.

We are embarking on an exciting phase, rebuilding the entire Tenderlink platform from the ground up. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Experian Tenderlink by designing, engineering, and delivering entirely new product capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work on a greenfield project, collaborating closely with customers, sales, product, and engineering teams to define the next generation of our platform and set new standards for modern product development within our organization.

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years of programming and application design experience, with a minimum of 5 years in large-scale IT environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A strong commitment to security, privacy, and compliance standards (PCI/ISO/SOC).
  • Familiarity with AI governance and the safe application of GenAI tools in enterprise settings.
  • A proactive approach to staying informed about relevant technology trends and experience working in agile methodologies.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer within Product Engineering, you will be instrumental in building both customer-facing and internal platforms. Your responsibilities will encompass the full stack, including UI, APIs, services, and data, with a primary focus on the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and AWS Cloud environment. You will also guide the team in the safe and effective use of GenAI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Lovable, enhancing collaboration, code quality, and developer experience in alignment with our AI governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop secure and high-performance ASP.NET Core Web APIs using .NET/.NET Core, C#, Dapper, and other API technologies.
  • Construct modern front-end experiences utilizing React and TypeScript.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Model and optimize schemas and queries on Microsoft SQL Server/SQL MI; integrate with internal/external systems via REST/SOAP.
  • Deploy and operate solutions on AWS, including Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3, SQS, EKS, and ECR.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Jenkins.
  • Champion automated testing, enforce SDLC controls, and promote secure coding practices.
  • Leverage approved GenAI coding assistants to accelerate development while upholding security and privacy standards, assisting with boilerplate generation, test scaffolding, refactoring, and code explanations.
  • Contribute to the design and integration of LLM-powered capabilities, such as code assistants, RAG for documentation search, and test generation.
  • Collaborate effectively with product owners, designers, QA engineers, platform/cloud engineers, and security teams.
  • Report to a Manager.

Who you are:

You are a highly skilled engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about creating high-quality, scalable solutions. You possess deep technical expertise, a security-first mindset, and a collaborative spirit.

Key skills and attributes:

  • Expertise in the .NET stack and modern front-end frameworks like React and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
  • Strong command of relational databases (SQL Server, SQL MI, Postgres).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
  • Proven ability to communicate updates and resolutions clearly to customers and stakeholders.
  • A professional, accountable, and committed approach to engineering excellence.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of programming and application design experience, with at least 5 years in large-scale IT environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline.
