Senior Software Engineer

Storable seeks an experienced Software Engineer passionate about software quality and process improvement to help build and scale our leading Facility Management Software. What You Will Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop and web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL, React, Node.js, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions, including ASP.NET, SQL Server, C# .NET, React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Continuously integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Enhance design policies, processes, procedures, methods, and testing strategies.
• Build and improve Continuous Integration, Continuous Development, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively within the team, across technology departments, and with business partners to achieve top priorities.
• Actively participate as a member of an agile team using Scrum methodologies.
• Promote best practices by demonstrating effective design and writing maintainable, reusable code.
• Investigate and develop skills in emerging technologies.
• Monitor system activities and provide necessary support.

What You Need To Bring To The Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of design/development experience with .NET C#, ASP.NET, React, Node.js, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices for the full SDLC, including coding standards, code review, source control, build, test, deploy, and operations.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience developing web-based applications.
• JavaScript development experience.
• Passion for mentoring junior engineers to produce high-quality, maintainable deliverables.
• Proven track record of leading successful large-scale projects.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with business stakeholders and engineers.
• Demonstrated history of implementing testing methodologies to improve quality early in the development cycle.
• Acute sense of ownership and the resolve to thoroughly investigate product and technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a responsible team player.
• A self-starter with the ability, passion, creativity, and confidence to independently solve problems and achieve results.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Agile practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Refactoring, and design principles like SOLID.
• Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) experience.
• AWS certification.
• Experience with infrastructure cloud tools like Terraform and Docker.
