About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will play a pivotal role in leading moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within our technical domain. You will be instrumental in shaping strategies, designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting critical projects and programs. This position requires a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges, providing guidance to less experienced staff, and collaborating with peers and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
• Contribute to large-scale strategic planning for technology solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document software for projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments.
• Review and resolve moderately complex technical challenges by evaluating technologies and procedures.
• Address and resolve moderately complex issues, leading teams to meet client needs and leveraging a strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
• Collaborate and consult with colleagues and management to resolve technical challenges and achieve objectives.
• Lead projects and serve as an escalation point, providing mentorship and direction to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with compliance and regulatory systems.
• 2+ years of experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter & Blaze Meter.
• 2+ years of experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, and TestNG.
• 2+ years of experience in REST API testing.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a virtual environment, collaborating effectively across different time zones and locations.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Server-Side Expertise:
  • 4+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • 2+ years of experience with JPA/Hibernate.
  • 2+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit & Mockito.
• User Interface (UI) Development:
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular.
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • 2+ years of experience integrating with Microservices and handling JSON data.
  • 2+ years of experience with UI unit testing using Jasmine and Karma.
• Database Skills:
  • 4+ years of data modeling experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis and documentation.
  • 4+ years of experience writing and optimizing relational database queries, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• General Software Engineering:
  • 4+ years of overall Software Engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing solutions for application and database components.
  • 3+ years of SQL development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with source code repositories such as GIT.
  • 2+ years of experience with build automation tools like Gradle.
  • 2+ years of experience with project management tools like JIRA.
  • 2+ years of experience working with and implementing Agile delivery methodologies.
