Role Overview

The Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team is transforming rigid, legacy applications into modern microservices on MongoDB. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Gurugram for our hybrid model to build sophisticated data migration tooling.

Tech Stack & Responsibilities

  • Backend: Java ecosystem with Spring Boot and Kafka streaming systems
  • Data Engineering: CDC tools like Debezium, migrating from SQL (Postgres/MySQL) to MongoDB
  • Clientside: React is a plus for full-stack contributions

You will design scalable architectures, handle complex data synchronization, enforce best practices in code reviews, and drive technical direction.

Requirements

  • 6+ years commercial experience with JVM languages (Java/Spring)
  • Solid software architecture skills
  • Expertise in Apache Kafka and Change Data Capture (CDC)
  • Familiarity with both relational SQL and document databases
