Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at ArmorCode in Gurgaon, you will be involved in the complete application lifecycle, from requirement discussions and design to coding and debugging. Your responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code using the Spring Boot framework. You will collaborate with front-end developers and team members to define objectives and create cohesive code that enhances user experience. Key tasks involve gathering and addressing technical and design requirements, providing training and support to internal teams, learning new languages, and staying abreast of emerging technologies. You will also take the lead on new initiatives as needed, ensuring optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs, and maintaining code quality, organization, and automation are crucial aspects of this role.

We seek candidates with a proven track record as a Back-end developer, ideally with 4+ years of experience. A strong understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, deployment) is essential. Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem, including a basic understanding of the JVM, its limitations, and workarounds, is required. You should be adept at choosing between relational and NoSQL databases and have experience with at least one relational database. Familiarity with MVC, JDBC, and RESTful concepts is necessary. Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC is expected. Candidates should also have experience in CI/CD and Cloud technologies, with expertise in developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using MicroServices, including demonstrable production-scale experience. Familiarity with front-end languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is beneficial. Excellent analytical, time management, and teamwork skills, coupled with a problem-solving attitude, are highly valued.
