Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview

Join Autodesk's team shaping the future of Factory Design solutions. We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to deliver innovative Device Independent experiences through our browser-based Tandem Simulation solution, which improves productivity and operational efficiency in factory layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of web applications using clean, secure code.
• Leverage AI-driven tools (Cursor, Claude Code) to enhance development velocity and quality.
• Apply event-driven architecture principles in software design.
• Troubleshoot issues using advanced web debugging techniques.
• Solution scalability via AWS services: S3, OSS, RDS.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and mentor junior engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience building commercial web applications.
• Strong OOP knowledge; proficiency in JavaScript/HTML/CSS and frameworks like React/Angular/Vue.
• Backend expertise with NodeJS or GoLang (Go).
• PWA development, database skills (MySQL/MongoDB), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and AWS experience.
• Solid grasp of event-driven architecture principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic software-development workflows (Spec-Driven Development).
• Creating reusable AI assets like prompts, rules, or agent configurations.
• Optimizing cost/efficiency of AI usage and model selection.
• Masters in Computer Science.
