Senior Software Engineer

Intuit Credit Karma is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its expanding team in Bangalore, India. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and technical leaders to develop world-class products and user experiences. Responsibilities include addressing complex technical challenges such as architecting and managing Big Data infrastructure, designing intuitive UIs for experiment management, and enhancing software for impactful product delivery. The team is responsible for a range of development, from client SDKs and experiment management UIs to scalable backend services. This is an ideal position for individuals who thrive in a collaborative setting that balances autonomous contribution with the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor team members, providing technical and design guidance.
• Engage in full-stack web development.
• Develop front-end code using React and Redux.
• Build internal and external APIs utilizing Scala and Typescript.
• Contribute to understanding and continuously improving day-to-day operations of production systems.
• Research and integrate new A/B testing methodologies for large-scale application on the core platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
• Proficiency in React and Redux.
• Experience with Scala or Java, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• A collaborative spirit, aligning with Credit Karma's values of empathy and helpfulness.
• Demonstrated ability to estimate tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Typescript.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Previous experience in SaaS platforms.
• Experience designing scalable microservice architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing high-volume, low-latency microservices.
