• Execute design and analysis of projects using sound engineering principles.
• Design and code complex software features with adequate documentation.
• Create automation for new and existing features.
• Provide customer support, troubleshooting difficult software problems.

• Interface with external customers regarding software issues.
• Travel to onsite locations (approx. 10%) for short-term assignments like feature integrations.

You will dive deep into ground-breaking technologies—like machine learning and AI—to craft novel software solutions for semiconductor equipment components. You'll decipher code, anticipate software behaviors, and contribute to keeping Applied Materials at the leader in the semiconductor and display sectors.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (CS/Electronics preferred) with 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum 6 years' software development experience including maintenance, CI/CD releases.
• At least 4 years in core product software development.
• Strong Object-Oriented Design and Programming skills.
• Expertise in Core Java (Design Patterns, Multi-threading, Data Structures).
• Minimum 4 years as a ReactJS Developer with strong JavaScript/CSS/ES6+/React/Redux proficiency.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern build pipelines.
• Experience writing clean code and using testing frameworks like Playwright.

• Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
• Agile methodologies experience (e.g., JIRA).
