Role Overview
Rapid7 is expanding its global footprint into India, specifically building out Product & Engineering teams in Pune. We are seeking a Senior Platform Operations Engineer to own the technical direction of our platform for the FedRAMP authorized environment.
About The Team
Our team builds award-winning solutions on the Insight platform to help thousands of global organizations assess risk, detect threats, and automate security programs across AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture, standards, and tooling strategy for infrastructure deployment pipelines and operational automation.
- Lead platform operations in-house, making critical decisions on retaining existing systems versus rebuilding them within FedRAMP compliance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvements to service reliability, availability, and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) through incident response leadership.
- Design internal automation using GitOps practices, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker to enhance microservice operations.
- Partner with product engineering and compliance teams to ensure platform scaling meets strict regulatory requirements.
