Senior Software Engineer

CertifyOS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in scaling our core platform and accelerating product delivery in Delhi. You will be instrumental in building high-quality systems, shaping architectural decisions, and enhancing the reliability and performance of our applications.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, including design and deployment support.
• Develop scalable and maintainable systems to meet evolving product requirements.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to refine requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Elevate reliability and code quality through robust engineering practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• Over 5 years of experience building and maintaining production-grade systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity.
• Proven ability to define solutions independently and contribute to architectural discussions.
• A history of delivering high-quality software in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Strong grasp of fundamental engineering principles, including testing, clean code, and maintainability.
• Demonstrated experience in improving system performance and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough code reviews and a commitment to elevating engineering standards.
• Readiness to participate in on-call duties and incident response.
• Experience handling sensitive data (PII) and adhering to security best practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and MCP servers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices or distributed systems.
• Background in building data-intensive or large-scale platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare, compliance, or regulated industries.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) or entity resolution systems.
• Proven ability to reduce technical debt through iterative refactoring.
• Experience enhancing developer productivity via CI/CD and tooling.
