Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Core Java and Linux to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex Java-based applications. You will also contribute to identifying and mitigating technical risks, formulating designs from requirements, and taking ownership of new feature implementations, bug fixes, and enhancements.

Required Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in Core Java programming and associated technologies.
• Strong skills in requirement analysis, design, and implementation using Java.
• Experience with JUnit for unit testing.
• Familiarity with automation scripting.
• Conduct unit and system testing of application code and execute implementation activities.
• Proven experience in Java problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze logs effectively.
• Proactive approach to exploring and solving technical issues.
• Ownership of tasks including feature development, bug fixes, and enhancements.
• Adaptability to learn and utilize a variety of open-source technologies and tools.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Expertise in Linux Shell scripting.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Swing.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations such as DICOM, IHE, and HIPAA.
• Experience in medical image processing.

Work Experience:

• 3-9 years of experience in software development.
