Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This critical role involves building and maintaining the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify's product experience across platforms. You will work at the intersection of product and infrastructure, designing clear APIs and simple systems that directly enhance user experiences while navigating cross-platform integration tradeoffs.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, optimize for customer feedback, and deliver scalable solutions via our cross-platform SDK using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Optimize existing functionality by designing efficient abstractions and improving algorithms for faster loading times and intelligent parsing.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Tech Stack & Requirements

• Mandatory: Kotlin Multiplatform experience (Java knowledge is a plus).
• Preferred: Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
