Senior Software Engineer
Full Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This foundational team builds the SDKs and services powering Speechify across platforms. You will work at the intersection of product strategy and infrastructure, designing reliable APIs that enhance user experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, reduce complexity for faster customer feedback, navigate integration/UX tradeoffs, and deliver solutions via our cross-platform SDK.
- Optimize existing functionality by designing efficient abstractions and improving algorithms (e.g., faster loading, intelligent parsing).
- Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and background jobs using Kotlin on Google Cloud Platform (GCP preferred).
