Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to serve as a technical authority within the ExamDeveloper team. You will own complex technical work from design through delivery, contributing significantly to architecture decisions and engineering quality while mentoring colleagues.

Career Pathways
We offer two pathways tailored to your experience:
- Senior Software Engineer: Own complex technical work, contribute to architecture, improve engineering quality, troubleshoot critical issues, and modernize the platform.
- Senior Software Engineer (Squad Lead): Remain hands-on while leading a squad's day-to-day delivery. Guide engineers, coordinate work, remove obstacles, and influence technical direction without formal HR management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Drive design/implementation for complex components, lead architectural discussions with Product Architects, mentor engineers via code reviews/pairing, and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders.
Software Development: Build enterprise-scale, secure, scalable solutions in a .NET/C# environment. Evaluate design alternatives, perform root-cause analysis on critical issues, and mitigate technical debt.
Quality & Collaboration: Champion best practices in testing, automation (CI/CD), security, and observability. Partner with Quality Engineering to advance quality-by-design.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in designing/delivering complex, distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring within Agile teams and operating in cloud-native environments (Azure/Kubernetes).
Tech Stack
.NET / C# | Angular (including internal frameworks) | Microsoft Azure | Kubernetes | SQL Server | AI-assisted dev tools.
Preferred Skills
- LLM/ML concepts and practical AI tool usage.
- Accessibility compliance (WCAG).
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
