Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Engineering: Interact directly with clients to gather needs and document comprehensive Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
• Planning & Estimation: Decompose requirements into module-level development tasks, creating accurate effort estimates.
• Project Ownership: Lead project execution, conduct rigorous code and design reviews, and adhere to established engineering standards.
• Architecture & Design: Develop system designs based on inputs from technical leads and drive prototype development as required by the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure comprehensive testing at unit, module, and integration levels to identify and resolve defects prior to customer delivery.
• Release Management: Follow industry-standard software release practices to ensure smooth deployments.
• Stakeholder Communication: Actively participate in client meetings; maintain transparency through weekly reports. Ensure timely responses to all customer emails and requests.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor Junior Engineers, providing constructive feedback with practical examples to foster professional growth.
• Process Compliance: Participate in defining necessary workflows and ensure strict compliance with organizational processes.

Essential Requirements

• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience with web technology stacks, specifically C#/.NET.
• Source Control: Proficient knowledge of version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Perforce.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience scaling .NET projects for enterprise-level applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • Background working directly with hardware components.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing database systems.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on exposure to Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Node.js for large-scale web applications.
