Job Opportunity: Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer / Tech Lead in Chennai

FSS is seeking talented Software Engineers, Senior Software Engineers, and Tech Leads to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. This is a permanent position offering exciting opportunities to work on cutting-edge financial technology solutions.

Open Positions:

• Software / Sr. Software Engineer: 4 positions (2 to 6 years of experience)
• Tech Lead: 1 position (6+ years of experience)

Key Skills & Requirements:

Core Technologies:

• Microservices architecture
• Spring Boot framework
• Java 1.8+

Database Expertise:

• PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, blocks, and procedures

Domain Knowledge:

• ISO 8583 (Financial message handling)

API & Tools:

• Hands-on experience with Restful APIs and Swagger documentation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins optional)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Implement and optimize database queries, procedures, and blocks in Postgres/Oracle.
• Work with ISO 8583 financial message formats for secure and efficient transaction handling.
• Build and document Restful APIs, ensuring integration with Swagger.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers (for Tech Lead role) and provide technical leadership.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and best practices.
