Senior Software Engineer – C++ / Linux Desktop (Medical Devices)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to build and optimize our core Ubuntu Linux GUI desktop application that powers next-generation medical imaging devices. You will operate at the intersection of high-performance software engineering and critical medical hardware, processing live X-ray data streams in real-time.

What You Will Do:

• Real-Time Data Processing: Build features to acquire raw X-ray frames from detectors, process them using image libraries, and render ultra-low latency displays.
• Low-Level Hardware Integration: Interface the application with medical modules (X-ray Generators, Collimators) via Serial (RS232/RS485), CAN 2.0, and Ethernet protocols.
• Performance Engineering: Debug multi-threaded architectures to push performance boundaries on Ubuntu Linux.
• Core Application Architecture: Own workflows including Patient Image Database Management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and DICOM/PACS integration.
• Remote & Cloud Features: Implement secure pipelines for diagnostics and OTA software upgrades.

What We Are Looking For:

• Educational Background: BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Computer Science, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering.
• C++ Expertise: 2–5 years experience developing high-performance GUI apps on Ubuntu Linux.
• Systems Architecture: Proficiency with CMake, GCC, ICC.
• Hardware Literacy: Experience debugging physical interfaces using Oscilloscopes and similar tools.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with medical device regulatory compliance or cybersecurity standards.
• Ai Prompt Engineering skills for automation tasks.
