Your Impact:

• Drive rapid enhancements to the existing Java/Angular codebase to resolve production issues.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to establishing a mature Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Gain comprehensive knowledge and control over the loyalty platform's integration points, including live APIs, batch processing, and queue-based systems.
• Actively participate in design sessions, collaborating with product owners and team members to meet acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all configurations and business logic rules.
• Mentor and coach team members, promoting best practices.
• Champion and demonstrate strong coding practices and patterns within the team.
• Provide accurate time and scope estimates for assigned tasks and projects.
• Proactively identify and fill information gaps to ensure project completion.
• Develop elegant solutions for complex challenges.
• Propose innovative improvements to processes and work components.
• Collaborate effectively with other teams and third-party vendors.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing applications and components using Java and Spring (JDK 11+ with Spring Boot preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience developing RESTful services with JSON.
• Experience in developing microservice cloud applications on platforms like Oracle, AWS, or Azure.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL, including multi-table queries, inserts, and updates (Oracle/PostgreSQL preferred).
• Proven ability to tune SQL statements using execution explain plans.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as the Scrum process.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Experience developing applications in the Loyalty, Accounting, or Banking sectors is a plus.
• Experience with Message Queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka Streams) is preferred.
• Familiarity with building Docker containers and configuring Kubernetes clusters (kubectl, Docker for Desktop) is preferred.
• Experience with build management tools like Bitbucket/Git, Gradle, and Bamboo is preferred.
