Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and testing highly scalable software products that align with Empower Retirement's strategic business, technology, and architecture objectives. Your contributions will directly impact Empower's business operations and benefit millions of customers by ensuring performance, scalability, security, and quality in our technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with fellow developers and architects to drive process improvements and enhance our codebase. Additionally, you will provide expert technical support and guidance to end-users, develop automated CI/CD delivery pipelines, and actively participate in Agile development methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Java, Design Patterns, and Open-Source Frameworks. Proven experience with API development using Spring boot, Spring batch, and RESTful APIs is essential. A strong understanding of Object-Oriented analysis, design, and development principles is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance to developers, are crucial. Exposure to production support environments is beneficial. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, who thrives in a team environment and is enthusiastic about learning and working collaboratively. Practical experience building highly scalable web applications and a commitment to continuous learning of new technologies are key. Knowledge of modern integration methods is also expected.
