About this role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer for the CANVAS initiative, focusing on the Supply Chain Management domain. In this pivotal role, you will lead moderately complex technical initiatives and deliverables. You will contribute to strategic, large-scale planning, and be responsible for the full software development lifecycle: designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting for projects and programs. This includes managing upgrades and deployments within our technology domain. You will tackle moderately complex technical challenges that demand in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures, and resolve intricate issues. Your leadership will guide a team to meet current client needs and explore opportunities for new clients, leveraging a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to overcome technical hurdles and achieve project goals. Serve as a project lead and escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Additional Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python full-stack development, including RESTful API design (FastAPI, Flask, Django), web development frameworks, and front-end integration.
- Expertise in numerical libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, with experience building data-driven applications that prioritize robust performance and scalability.
- Experience in REST API development for AI services.
- Strong knowledge of Autosys, OpenShift (OCP), and GCP environments.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, ETL processes, and S3 data handling.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Identity Access Management.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Lang Chain, Lang Graph, and Lang Smith for building agentic workflows.
- Experience with vector databases.
- Proficiency in developing React-based AI agents, with a strong understanding of multi-agent orchestration systems.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and enterprise-grade agentic workflows is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Google AI Development Kit (ADK) or equivalent Microsoft AI frameworks for enterprise-grade GenAI solutions like autogen and semantic kernel.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI governance and responsible AI frameworks.
- Ability to combine human and automated evaluation for nuanced quality checks.
- Experience using LLM-as-a-Judge for scalable assessments.
